The EASIER group would like to install an additional 50 antenna on surface detector stations. More documentation can be found in the recommendation by the Microwave Task Force.
The proposal and possible consequences have been discussed by the Technical Board and in the Executive committee. A careful analysis indicated that we should not expecta a degeneration of the quality of the surface detector data.
There are no objections from the Technical Board and the Executive Board endorses the proposal.
Ultimately, it is up to the CB to approve the proposal. Voting on the proposal is open immediately, until the end of Monday, September 12, 2011.
